Survey Report 2024
Many thanks to those residents who took the trouble to fill in and return the Cornforth Parish Council survey form.
It really helps your councillors to have a better idea of how people feel.

Vacancy for Remembrance Day Parade Marshal
After nearly 30 years of involvement, Mr Andy Denholm has decided to step down as Cornforth’s Parade Marshal for after this year’s Remembrance Service and parades.
Andy said: “Having been involved in Remembrance activities for at least 29 years since I moved back to West Cornforth this has brought a great deal of pride and joy. Words don’t sum up the honour and pride I felt carrying this out.”
Councillor Paul Metcalfe, Chairman of Cornforth Parish Council said: “Cornforth is so grateful to Andy Denholm for his many hours of excellent work over the years organising our Remembrance events.
“Cornforth is now looking for a new person to take on the role of Parade Marshal from 2025. Andy has kindly offered to provide help and guidance to the new person.”
